Lesson 3 - Key of G Major


1/8th Note Pattern, Alternating Bass Notes

This lesson uses the same pattern as in Lesson 2, but now we alternate bass notes (with thumb). As we move along in the course you will see how the thumb can make the pattern more interesting.

NOTES

It is generally helpful to actually finger the entire chord, even though the tab does not show this. Fingering the whole chord will give you opportunities to add variations as you become more familiar with the techniques.

You may also ocassionally not play the final note before changing chords. This gives you the opportunity to make a clean chord change without having to hurry the change as much.
