New Group Courses Released

Introductory courses for guitar and ukulele beginners will soon be available for local (Waterloo Region) use at community facilities, schools, libraries and seniors facilities.
The courses will feature recordings of live lesson presentations, gradually stepping through the various phases of learning how to play the ukulele or guitar.

All sessions will include PlayAlong time where participants will play along with familiar songs.
Here’s a sample playalong song. Notation is indicated for those who can read music. More importantly the chords are indicated above the staff. The song plays in a browser and participants can follow along. Song speed is variable.

Before each song the instructor goes over the chords and suggests a strum pattern along with any tips for playing along with the song.
